What store reminders do
You walk into the supermarket and your phone reminds you of the things on your list you usually buy there. No more getting home and realising the eggs were on the list all along.
Pattlist learns which stores you shop at from where you tick items off as bought (the same information Near me uses), and watches for you arriving at them.
Turn on store reminders
Store reminders are part of Pattlist Plus. On the free plan, turning them on shows you the Plus options.
- Tap your profile picture at the top right to open Settings.
- Under NOTIFICATIONS, turn on Store reminder notifications.
- Pattlist explains what the reminders need. Tap Continue.
- When your phone asks, allow location access all the time (“Always”). Pattlist needs this to notice you arriving at a store while the app is closed.
If you refuse location access, reminders stay off and Pattlist tells you where to allow it in your phone’s settings. Turn reminders off at any time with the same switch, and Pattlist stops watching for stores.
When you’ll get a reminder
- When you arrive at a store you shop at, and at least 3 things on your list are things you often buy there. The reminder names those 3.
- Not when fewer than 3 such things are on your list, so you’re not bothered for a single item.
- At most once per store visit: if you come back to the same store within 4 hours, it stays quiet.
Tap the reminder to open the list, ready to shop from.
