Organise your shopping list with item markers and store logos
Label grocery list items with icons or store logos in Pattlist, so you know where to buy what. How to mark items, and which markers each plan includes.

What markers are for
A marker is a small icon or store logo on an item. Use them however suits your household: which shop to buy something at, what’s for a recipe, what’s a treat, what’s for the car. You can then sort and filter your list by marker.
Mark an item
- Tap the marker button on an item (or next to the new item box, to mark the next item you add).
- In Choose a marker, pick an icon or a store.
To change a marker, tap it and pick another. To clear it, choose No marker. Changes appear on everyone’s phone, and markers set offline sync once you’re back online.
Which markers you can use
The list owner’s plan decides which markers everyone on that list can use:
- Free: 3 icons: Tag, Store and Smile.
- Plus: all 12 icons (adding Fish, Leaf, Coffee, Car, Music, Gift, Star, Heart and Flag), plus store logos.
So a free member of a Plus owner’s list can use every marker on that list. A Plus subscriber on a free owner’s list can’t, and Pattlist explains why if they try.
Mark items with store logos
Plus Store logos are part of Pattlist Plus, on lists you own.
- Open the marker picker and go to Stores.
- Pick a recent store, or browse all stores and search for the one you want.
The store’s logo shows on the item, and the store joins your recent stores. Pattlist keeps your 12 most recent stores, latest first.
If Plus ends
Items keep the Plus markers they already have, and you can still clear them. You can’t change an item to another Plus icon or store until the list’s owner has Plus again.
